DeSoto County, FL — IBT Group USA is proud to announce a new community-centered digital literacy initiative offering free “Beginner’s AI” classes for residents of DeSoto County. As part of IBT Group USA’s broader mission to bridge the digital divide and expand technology access in underserved communities, this program represents a continued commitment to empowering individuals with essential digital skills for today’s rapidly evolving world.
IBT Group USA is dedicated to advancing digital inclusion and creating equitable access to technology, training, and opportunity. The organization’s Digital Inclusion Initiative focuses on delivering high-quality digital literacy education—from foundational computer skills to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence—to help individuals improve their employment prospects, access critical resources, and participate fully in a digital society.
Drawing inspiration from its comprehensive Digital Literacy Training Program—which includes instruction in basic computer skills, internet navigation, cybersecurity, communication tools, and productivity platforms—IBT Group USA continues to invest in community-based learning experiences that uplift and strengthen local economies.
Through collaborations with partners, community leaders, and local facilities, IBT Group USA works to ensure that every individual, regardless of age or background, has the tools needed to thrive in a modern, technology-driven environment.
These accessible and engaging sessions will be taught by Priya Ahluwalia, Head of the Digital Inclusion Initiative at IBT Group USA. Attendees will receive an introductory overview of AI—what it is, how it works, and how it can be used for personal and professional growth.

Whether participants want to improve workplace readiness, enhance everyday digital comfort, or simply learn how AI can make their lives easier, this introductory session offers a friendly and practical starting point.
Refreshments will be provided at all events.
The Digital Inclusion Initiative is designed to boost digital competency and economic mobility by providing communities with accessible training and technology resources. From computer basics to AI awareness, the initiative aims to prepare individuals for the future of work, education, and civic participation.
